Amy was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa. She heard and responded to the gospel at a young age. At the age of eighteen, Amy attended Moody Bible Institute and majored in Bible Theology. It was at Moody that she met Michael. They were married in 1987 and left to serve the Lord together in Ireland in 1990. They have now been living and serving the Lord in Ireland for twenty-seven years.  Amy and Michael have four children, one daughter in law, and 1 grandchild: Heather; Brendan; Brendan’s wife, Rachael; grandson, Tyler; Hannah; and Caleb. 
Amy’s enjoys her roles of being a daughter, sister, wife, mother, pastor’s wife, friend, and mentor. She loves studying God’s Word, listening to sermons, cleaning, cooking, and sitting in the sunshine.
