Grace for Your Day April 12

In light of the United States border being closed, we have decided to postpone the Spring conference for this year and are looking forward to having Dr. Tedd Tripp join us in Spring of 2022. However, even though he will not be coming in person, the exciting news is that Dr. Tripp will be our Online guest this Sunday morning.

Tedd Tripp is the Senior Pastor Emeritus of Grace Fellowship Church in Hazelton, Pennsylvania since his retirement as Senior Pastor after 29 years of service. He was married to Margy in 1968. They have three adult children and nine grandchildren. Tedd is a graduate of Geneva College, B.A. in History, Philadelphia Theological Seminary, M. Div., and Westminster Theological Seminary, D. Min. with an emphasis in Pastoral Counseling. He is also the author of the popular childrearing book, Shepherding a Child’s Heart.

He will speak on the topic of “Confidence in the Promises” from Proverbs 22:6, which says,
"Train up a child in the way he should go,
Even when he grows older he will not abandon it."

It is a helpful verse on parenting because it gives us some basic guidelines for training children as well as some pitfalls to avoid. As part of this event, Tedd and his wife will also do a Q & A with me afterwards on the subject of parenting and the home. The sermon will be played on a screen at our 9:15 and 11:00 services and will also be available Sunday morning on our YouTube Channel for all who would like to see it. The Q&A Session will be posted on our YouTube Channel later that afternoon.
