Grace For Your Day December 12

At this time of year life can be really busy for many people, but I find that the Christmas season can also be a great opportunity to talk with others about Jesus.

If we talk with even the closest people in our lives, we would soon find out how many people really don’t know very much about Him.

Colossians 1:15 says that “He is the image of the invisible God, firstborn of all creation.” Jesus is the exact representation of God. He not only reflects God, but He reveals God to us. He is everything we need, and everything we could ever desire. Jesus is God.

We try so hard in life to find or work our way to God, but in our fallen sinful condition, we are unable to. It is not possible to do this in our own strength, but even though we were all God’s enemies at one time, He made a way (the only way) for those who would believe, to be reconciled to Himself through His Son, Jesus Christ.
